New Methods of feedback-based segmentation and visualization of complex 3D image data

Modern microscopy is able to produce large numbers of 3D data sets in short times. The vast amount of data required to support analysis of this datasets by semi-automated segmentation methods. Promising results can be obtained by an intelligent combination machine learning and 3D visualization.

Markus Reischl will report on the result of the project "Correlative Imaging Platform” funded by HEIKA and give a general overview about the images processing activities at the Institute of Applied Computer Science.
