DESCRIPTION:Next generation materials\, especially such used for energy co
 nversion applications\, contain building blocks on several length scales a
 nd exhibit pronounced complexity. To treat such systems computationally\, 
 many different well established physical models are employed as individual
  steps in complex simulation protocols. This workshop will bring together 
 broad groups of experts in high-performance computing\, multiscale modelli
 ng\, industrial users\, and experimental researchers. It will enable knowl
 edge exchange and foster adoption of novel approaches for multiscale model
