With a publication in Nature magazine in 2019 Carlos Gerardo, Edmond Cretu and Robert Rohling of the University of British Columbia disclosed the invention of working polymer based capacitive micomachined transducer arrays. This talk is supposed to give the listeners an overview of the possibilities of the technology, it’s different applications and the progress made since the initial publication.
