Description
General Discussion:
- UTS500/Trilayer-Anlage:
- Nb-Gun doesn't ignite immediatly (~86µm of material already sputtered)
- check Resistance over Nb-Gun
- next opportunity open machine and clean parts
- Copper shield of one dipstick got a dent after accidentely trying to close the flood gate with the shield inbetween
- check flood gate for leaks
- similar accidents should always be documented in the PTC protocol
- Copper parts for Bluefors dc-wiring:
- only very slow cooldown with all copper parts installed
- remove copper parts again: are the cooldowns faster again?
- Which kind of copper was used? (Standard,OF,...?)
- How were the copper parts treated?
- Copper parts should not be cleaned with hydrochloric acid (Salzsäure) (creats chorides/cools down very slowly). Use nitric acid (Salpetersäure) instead.
- The improvised dc-wiring can be uninstalled.
- only very slow cooldown with all copper parts installed
- Trash containers for clean up are now available. Everyone should take a look through the labs and their offices for stuff that should/could be thrown away.
