ATMO AI online series – no. 2 Machine Learning: Opportunities, challenges and pitfalls

This workshop provides a high-level introduction to Machine Learning (ML) with a focus on applications in environmental sciences. Participants will explore basic ML concepts, workflows, potential applications in their research projects, and challenges. The session will include peer-to-peer learning and discussion of real case scenarios. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid understanding of the basics of ML and will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to assess whether ML is an appropriate tool for their data analysis.
