Description
Martin Angerer will give a talk on polymer-based Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducer (polyCMUTs), a technology he is currently working on at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He is currently back at KIT for the Helmholtz-Field-study to assess commercialization opportunities of the technology. In this field study, he interviewed different companies and institutions to gain feedback and insights into current industrial trends and challenges. He will introduce the technology, showcase current projects ranging from medical imaging to acoustic emission sensing, and discuss future opportunities.
