DESCRIPTION:\n \nWe will meet for a final sprint to work on several codin
 g-related tasks from WG1\, WG2 and WG3.\nMain objectives\n\nContinue to pr
 epare open datasets\nFix and/or extend our software packages (poligrain\, 
 pypwsqc\, mergeplg)\nStart to integrate Deep Learning methods into our sof
 tware ecosystem\nContinue/finalize method intercomparisons\n\n \nNote tha
 t this will be a very coding-focused meeting and we have to concentrate on
  fixing open issues (see Github pages of our packages) and on streamlining
  a small number of selected use cases. If you apply and want to propose so
 mething beyond that\, e.g. working on your own separate software package\,
  you have to provide good argument for how that fits within this meeting. 
 If in doubt\, reach out to the organizers.\nApplication\nParticipants are 
 expected to substantially contribute to at least one of the objectives. Th
 is contribution has to be described in the application form.\nApplications
  can be submitted from now on and the latest till 23rd of July 2025.\nInfo
  on acceptance or rejection will be sent the latest on 25th of July 2025.\
 nPreliminary schedule\n\nNote that we will wrap up the meeting already on 
 Thursday at noon since\, due to travel plans\, we will only have a reduced
  number of core contributors on site on Thursday afternoon. But there will
  be a room available to continue the work till the evening for those that 
 do not have to travel already in the morning.\nAlso note that the hybrid s
 lots are meant for synchronization with core contributors that cannot join
  the meeting on site. We do not plan to continuously coordinate online con
 tributions during the meeting. Hence\, online-only participation is not pl
 anned.\nReimbursement\nFor confirmed on-site participants who are approved
  OPENSENSE member\, all costs will be covered by OPENSENSE\, following the
  rules of COST\, i.e.  reimbursement of travel costs + a daily allowance.
