Information event on the Doctoral Exam: Public or Not?

This is an information event, where we will discuss the future format of PhD defenses at our faculty, with a particular focus on the possibility of public defenses. Currently, the defense format is partly public and partly closed. 

The event takes place on July 23 at 18:00 in Hörsaal B.
During the event, we will:

• Explain the current procedure

• Present and explore alternative formats

• Open the floor for discussion and hear your opinions

The event is organized by the PhD Council of the Faculty of Physics in collaboration with Prof. Drexlin, the dean of our faculty. Both the council and the dean will be present and happy to answer your questions and hear your suggestions.
