Description

The study of quarkonia, which are bound states consisting of a heavy quark and their anti-particle, is quite interesting as these can be used to probe the content of the proton in hadron-hadron collisions. As the strong coupling constant is not too small around the scale of the charm quark mass, perturbative QCD corrections can be large and significant for quarkonium phenomenology. In this talk, we present some recent progress in scattering amplitude calculations relevant for quarkonium production and decay.
