In the research field Matter, the program Matter and Technologies is the largest engagement of IPE. Our activities in MT span basically over all the competences we have in IPE. In this talk a summary of KIT achievements in MT will be given. 2025 was a special year: we has the scientific evaluation in the beginning of the year and beside many results in various projects the concept for the next funding period starting in 2028 was defined.
