We are delighted to announce the inaugural KCETA Day, bringing together researchers across all areas of the KIT Center KCETA to exchange ideas and perspectives.

The workshop will feature talks, poster sessions, and discussions, and is open to all KCETA researchers - from Master students and early-career scientists to senior investigators. Participants are invited to present recent results, highlight emerging topics, and engage in discussions on high-impact projects.

KCETA Day will also serve as a starting point for shaping the center’s profile, with the aim of better defining and communicating its research along key thematic lines.

Join us to gain an overview of KCETA’s activities, connect with colleagues, and contribute to future directions.

Our main goal is to discuss scientific topics during the event. To help us structure that discussion, we're asking you to share which topics you'd like to talk or hear about. For this purpose, please take a few minutes to fill the survey.

Based on your input, we'll also organize discussions on whether and how to update KCETA's research fields (the current list can be found here: https://www.kceta.kit.edu/english/26.php).

Please check whether your favourite topic is accurately represented on the website. If not, we strongly encourage you to fill out the survey with your suggestions. Please note that you can also complete the survey if you can't attend the KCETA Day.

At the KCETA day, the presentations and discussions will be structured into three  categories:
Scientific highlights – New results or findings within one of the existing research fields.
Emerging topics – New topics that fit within an existing research field but are not yet covered on the website.
New research fields – Completely new topics that don't fit into any of the current research fields.

You're also invited to contribute a poster by submitting an abstract here: https://indico.kit.edu/event/5651/abstracts/ . We particularly encourage abstracts on projects that have been supported by KCETA funding with a brief explanation of the KCETA contribution on the poster. 

We look forward to your contributions in order to make the first KCETA Day a valuable event for all participants.
