Description

Many of us are present every day in the Physics building on the KIT South Campus, while many others spend their working day on the North or West Campuses, or in external research facilities. Often, regular contact does not extend beyond our own institute, which also impairs the flow of information regarding official procedures and deadlines as well as networking and exchange with other doctoral students. To counteract this and to welcome you all to the faculty, the PhD student council is organising an informational event for all new doctoral researchers in physics, geophysics, and meteorology on Thursday, July 9th 2026.

After a few short presentations, starting at 18:00 in seminar room 6/1, building 30.23 Campus South, we will have ample time for discussion and networking over drinks, which will be provided by us.

This event is open to all Doctoral researchers, regardless of student (Immatrikulation) status.

We kindly ask that you register below so that the number of drinks provided can be planned.
