 ny of us are present every day in the Physics building on the KIT South Ca
 mpus\, while many others spend their working day on the North or West Camp
 uses\, or in external research facilities. Often\, regular contact does no
 t extend beyond our own institute\, which also impairs the flow of informa
 tion regarding official procedures and deadlines as well as networking an
 d exchange with other doctoral students. To counteract this and to welcome
  you all to the faculty\, the PhD student council is organising an informa
 tional event for all new doctoral researchers in physics\, geophysics\, an
 d meteorology on Thursday\, July 9th 2026.\nAfter a few short presentatio
 ns\, starting at 18:00 in seminar room 6/1\, building 30.23 Campus South\,
  we will have ample time for discussion and networking over drinks\, which
  will be provided by us.\nThis event is open to all Doctoral researchers\,
  regardless of student (Immatrikulation) status.\nWe kindly ask that you r
