 nic Systems)\n\n\nThe 4th Workshop on the Physics and Applications of Magn
 etic Microcalorimeters will take place at the Gastdozentenhaus Karlsruhe\
 , located on the main campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KI
 T). The workshop is organized by the Institute of Micro- and Nanoelectron
 ic Systems (IMS).\nThe aim of the workshop is to discuss the latest develo
 pments and achievements in the field of magnetic microcalorimeters (MMCs) 
 in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Rather than focusing exclusively on 
 highly polished\, conference-style presentations\, the workshop is intende
 d to provide ample opportunity for open discussions about the “devil in
  the details”\, the practical challenges that arise during detector dev
 elopment\, fabrication\, and operation.\nTopics may include measurement-re
 lated issues\, fabrication challenges\, data analysis\, detector optimizat
 ion\, ideas for new projects and experiments\, as well as practical tips a
 nd tricks gained through day-to-day experience. We especially encourage pa
 rticipants to present work in progress\, preliminary ideas\, or unresolved
  questions that would benefit from discussion within the MMC community.\nU
 ltimately\, the workshop is intended to be a meeting of MMC colleagues and
  friends who share the common goal of advancing this detector technology 
 and exploring its full scientific and technological potential.\n\nhttps://
