DESCRIPTION:Quantum technologies currently see a rapid progress and have b
 een applied in many recent experiments. The partners in the Helmholtz Inno
 vation Pool project QS4Physics are developing quantum sensor technologies 
 for basic research\, building prototypes\, and developing materials for ke
 y applications.  \nThe QS4Physics collaboration will further expand the s
 ynergies between the centers in the following areas:\n\nDevelopment of qua
 ntum sensors\, cryogenic infrastructures\, simulations\, and electronics f
 or the search for dark matter\, the determination of neutrino mass\, and
  materials research.\nSynchrotron/FEL-based high-precision analytics for 
 next-generation materials research.\nPrecision spectroscopy of atomic sys
 tems for fundamental physics.\nElectron beam ion traps and technologies fo
 r highly charged ions.\nFabrication and optimization of quantum sensors in
