QS4Physics Collaboration Meeting 2026

→ Europe/Berlin
Description

Quantum technologies currently see a rapid progress and have been applied in many recent experiments. The partners in the Helmholtz Innovation Pool project QS4Physics are developing quantum sensor technologies for basic research, building prototypes, and developing materials for key applications.

The QS4Physics collaboration will further expand the synergies between the centers in the following areas:

  • Development of quantum sensors, cryogenic infrastructures, simulations, and electronics for the search for dark matter, the determination of neutrino mass, and materials research.
  • Synchrotron/FEL-based high-precision analytics for next-generation materials research.
  • Precision spectroscopy of atomic systems for fundamental physics.
  • Electron beam ion traps and technologies for highly charged ions.
  • Fabrication and optimization of quantum sensors in various materials through ion beam implantation.
