  CoViD-19 pandemic and the uncertainties this implies for traveling\, visa
  and the general organization of the school\, we have decided to cancel th
 e school. \n\n \n\nThe 14th MCnet school and 27th CTEQ summer school wil
 l be held in Bad Herrenalb\, near Karlsruhe\, in the Black Forest. The sc
 hool extends over 9 full days with arrival on Sunday\, August 2nd and depa
 rture on Wednesday\, August 12th 2020.  \n\nThe school provides training 
 on the physics at high energy colliders\, particularly the LHC. We will 
 have series of lectures on basic and more advanced topics\, practical ses
 sions\, and evening discussions with the lecturers. The school is aimed at
  advanced doctoral students and young postdocs.\n\nOur core sessions compr
 ise a series of introductory lectures on the physics of Monte Carlo event 
 generators\, Electroweak Physics and Quantum Chromodynamics\, further lec
 tures on a wider range of associated topics\, a series of hands-on tutoria
 ls using all of the MCnet event generators for LHC physics\, and evening d
 iscussion sessions with all lecturers. \n\n\nsupported by\n\n
