NHR@KIT is hosting an introductory topical course for (future) users of the NHR@KIT infrastructure incl. the tier 2 HPC cluster HoreKa. This course introduces tools and best practices for performance evaluation and optimization of applications on HPC systems. Both computational and I/O aspects will be covered.

Participants are expected to have at least a good prior knowledge and experience with the Linux command line, build environments, specifically for applications on HPC Systems, and running jobs on HPC Systems, preferably the HoreKa cluster.

The course will take place on-site (in-person session).

No course fees apply. The number of participants is restricted.
