Description
The KATRIN Experiment aims to measure the electron neutrino mass with an ultimate sensitivity of below 0.3 eV (90% CL).
Recently, KATRIN completed 1000 days of measurements of the tritium beta-decay spectrum, close to the kinematic endpoint.
The analysis of the full dataset of KATRIN requires good control of the systematic uncertainties, but also poses computational challenges.
A simultaneous fit of highly segmented data can be facilitated by merging the data recorded under similar, stable measurement conditions.
This poster outlines the motivation behind this approach and presents studies which quantify the possible impact on the neutrino mass results.
