Calibration Workshop 7th March
For KATRIN it is essential to have a reliable energy scale for consistent analysis of the neutrino data. Therefore adequate calibration and monitoring of the retarding potential is to be established. The aim of the workshop is to sum up the options we have with the available methods (GKrS in WGTS, CKrS in CPS, SKrS in MoS, tritium end point and classical electric methods) and based on this, to propose a monitoring and calibration scheme.
