🚌 Dedicated Bus Transportation
Dedicated shuttle buses are available to transport participants between Karlsruhe Main Station and the workshop venue at KIT throughout the week. Please make use of this service to ensure a smooth and timely arrival each day.

The bus departs from the back-side parking lot of Karlsruhe Main Station (Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof). Please refer to the map figure below for the exact meeting point.

📝 Notes
· Wednesday evening: The bus will drop participants off at the dinner venue (Brauhaus Kühler Krug). There is no return bus after dinner — participants are kindly asked to make their own way back to their accommodation.
· Friday: Two return buses are available. The first bus departs at 13:00 right after the closing session. The second bus departs at 16:30, after the conclusion of the Technical Visits.
· Please be at the departure point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
🚆 Travelling by Public Transport
If you prefer to travel independently, the conference venue is well connected by Karlsruhe's public transport network.
Getting to KIT : Google Map
Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz 1, 76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen
Take the S1 or S11 suburban train towards the KIT/North campus direction,, get off at stop “Leopoldshafen Leopoldstraße” , then change to Bus 195 to reach the meeting place. The return journey follows the same connection in reverse.
⚠️ Important: Some S1/S11 services terminate at Neureut and do not continue further. Please check the exact departure times and train destinations carefully before boarding.
Special Note on the S1 into KIT Campus
There is one S1 service that runs directly inside the KIT campus (arrive at ~8:50). Please note:
· Do NOT use this service on Monday — access requires a KIT entrance card, which will not yet be available.
· This service can be used from Tuesday to Friday once you have your entrance card.
