The Young Scientist Meeting 2026 will be followed by two workshops on topics related to equity, diversity and inclusion, which will run in parallel on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
The first workshop "Inclusive Leadership" focuses on creating a welcoming and inclusive research culture. We will learn communication strategies and practical measures to remove barriers, avoid discrimination and foster diverse research teams. The workshop is open to professors, senior researchers and postdocs with experience in leading teams and/or supervising students.
The second workshop "Allyship" focuses on recognizing different forms of power structures and discrimination in order to support colleagues who experience exclusion. To go beyond awareness and good intentions, we will learn to identify opportunities and apply practical strategies for effective action. The workshop is open to all young scientists.
