The IUVSTA Vacuum School will be hosted by the Institute of Astro-Particle Physics (IAP) at the KIT- Campus North in Karlsruhe, Germany.
KIT - Campus North is situated in the administrative district of Karlsruhe near Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, about 10 km away in the heart of the city of Karlsruhe. It can be reached by car and by public transport.
For participants of the IUVSTA School we will provide transport by bus from the recomended hotels in the center of Karlsruhe to KIT - Campus North and back. Everyone is asked during registration to provide their date & place of birth and nationality required for site access. You will need a passport or ID (Personalausweis) to identify yourself. Please indicate in the registration form, If you plan to come by car. In this case, you have to register at the main gate (Südtor) individually for a site pass to gain access.
