24th IUVSTA Vacuum School Theory, Design, Instrumentation and Operation
Bdg. 401, Room 410
KIT - Campus North, Institute for Astro-Particle Physics (IAP)
The 24th IUVSTA Vacuum School will bring together young scientists, engineers, doctoral students and industrial experts from universities, research institutes and industry for one week of intensive training in vacuum science and technology. Hosted at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), one of Europe’s leading research institutions, the school combines lectures, practical sessions and direct interaction with internationally recognized experts from academia and industry. The event also offers an excellent platform for industrial partners to present their technologies, products and expertise to a highly relevant international audience. It is supported by the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA) and jointly organized by the Institute of Astro-Particle Physics at KIT and the German Vacuum Society (DVG).
This IUVSTA school is aimed at people who need vacuum technology in their work and who use this technology but are not yet experts in this field, as well as beginners and newcomers to this field.
The goal of the school is to bridge the gap between complicated technical literature and practical requirements, to provide guidance in the field of vacuum technology, and to demonstrate relevant methods for practical applications.
