Abstract
Effective Field Theories are powerful tools for tackling multi-scale problems, with applications ranging from Standard Model precision physics to physics beyond the Standard Model. In this set of lectures I will introduce the core concepts on which EFTs are constructed, show how they address the issues that typically arise in multi-scale QFT problems, and give an overview over the most popular constructions.
